SELLING ANTIQUE ART

Life can be pretty surprising sometimes. I actually just found out that a lot of work goes into the making and selling of antique art in general, and particularly antique art in Chicago. There is a whole process that comes before the actual selling. First, the art needs to be purchased, either from someone who has inherited it, or just from anyone who has it, such as museums, random pawn shops, and other places of the like. Then they have to name a price, in other words see what the net worth is, and how much they can make off of it. Then finally it can be put up for sale on the internet or in the little shop they have there. It is available for any business or person who wants it. And once it is purchased, my friends company makes money! I never really thought about it before, but it is kind of a big deal. A lot of thought, work, and math go into selling antique art. See what a seemingly easy business entails? I was just fascinated to discover this, and I am seriously thinking about joining my friend in this job. This discovery has given me a whole new perspective in life, and I believe it is for the good.
