Cheryl and Todd have been married for over thirty years. Since Todd was a career-man in the United States Air Force they had to relocate many times during those years. Now that Todd decided on retiring, they knew they were on the move again. Since the USAF always took care of their relocations before they were at a loss as to where to live after Todd retired. They discussed all the different places they lived throughout his military career and made a list of the places they enjoyed the most. They found Cheryl’s journal and read about what she had to say about each area. They looked through mementos from every state they were posted in and remembered the highlights of each one of them. Neither Cheryl nor Todd had special ties to their hometown so they were looking for the perfect place to enjoy retirement. They both decided that they didn’t want to move to a state that had windy freezing winters, as they didn’t appreciate cold weather. They finally had it down to just three locations. After making lists of pros and cons of each they finally made a decision. They would spend the first few years of retirement in Atlanta, Georgia. With them so used to moving around they don’t really know where they will be after that.
