NEEDS A BLUETOOTH

We got absolutely smashed. A girl driving an SUV and talking on her cell phone drove right through a red light and side swiped us, pretty much totaling my Toyota. She tried to start driving away without even checking to see how we were, but there was too much damage to her car for her to make it out of the intersection. I remember comedy TV shows from the eighties showing lawyers converging on scenes like this and following ambulances to the hospital to get clients, but I actually had to search the internet to find one of Pennsylvania’s finest car accident attorneys. My wife didn’t suffer any serious injuries, just a lot of bumps and bruises, but I had a broken wrist and a broken ankle, not to mention the terrible aches and pains from the shock of the impact. We explained our side of the story to the attorney and gave him a copy of the police report and documentation of my injuries and he started to file the paperwork for the lawsuit. When he agreed to accept our case I knew that there was a very strong chance of getting some money because his policy states that he doesn’t get paid until his client receives a settlement and I know most lawyers don’t like to do work for free. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not out to get rich from a car accident, but a little cash to recoup what we lost from me being out of work would sure be nice.
