I am back at work after our mini vacation. A few girlfriends and I took an out of town trip to catch up with each other and to relax a little bit and take a break from our hectic lives. We went to a spa in New York, where we just relaxed and got pampered. It was glorious and we really hated to leave. Next time, we will plan on a longer stay, and we are already planning our next time. This is going to become a ritual for us. We spent most of our time at the spa, but did venture on a short shopping trip. We even took in a play. We got the best Wicked Tickets possible. We were sort of squeezed into them with not a lot of leg room either. Our seating sort of took away from the play, and we found ourselves looking forward to getting back to the resort and into the hot tub. We were all dreaming of getting a back massage after this ordeal. I think we were thoroughly spoiled by the staff at the spa. Can't say the food was bad either. I will say that the portion could have been larger.
