I love chef hats. I love the high white billowy material, the way it looks on expert chefs. It looks so professional. If I saw a chef hat on some random guy I would probably hire him to cater my daughters wedding just because he looks like an expert. The wedding is in 5 weeks, and I am trying to get our future in laws to agree to come to the wedding dressed up as something interesting. I wanted, as you can guess, our side of the family to dress as assorted chefs. I thought it would be funny and cute since the wedding dress is white. I thought that the chef hat would make a nice veil, you know? Something new, something different. My husband says I am eccentric, and asks that we have a normal wedding like the rest of our friends. I don’t agree with him. I try explaining that I am just a fun person, and that I wanted to be different. We don’t have to be like everyone else. I remind him that when I first brought the idea up he was very enthusiastic about it, and even encouraging. He says he was just kidding.
