Grandma’s hands are always busy around any holiday worth celebrating. She can bake better than anymore I know. I am always salivating by the time I get over to my Grandparent’s home during any holiday period. I love all those homemade loaves of bread that smell so delicious with that homemade jam. My Grandmother is also busy getting ingredients together to make her home remedies. She has a big supply of herbs and other natural ingredients in her arsenal. She has been putting together different concoctions for helping all kinds of ailments, like aching back muscles, for clearing up acme, for relieving toothaches, dandruff, hair loss remedies and remedies for dry skin. There are so many fascinating things my Grandmother can do with all the ingredients in her kitchen. She is great at cooking too, and can make the best homemade jams. We are trying to convince her to package it up and sell it. We think this will make a very nice little business venture for her. I am excited that she has started asking questions about what’s involved in making homemade jams and selling them over the internet. I can just see that venture becoming a full-blown business.
